Product Availability

The provision of goods and services on this website is subject to availability.

In the event that an item becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, the customer will be notified and a full refund will be issued within 7 working days.

Bantu Records reserves the right to cancel any order for which payment has already been received. This may occur if stock is insufficient or if the quality of the goods ordered does not meet our standards. Should this occur, the customer will receive a full refund with no deductions.

Shipping

Order Processing

Orders for items currently in stock are typically processed and dispatched within 2–4 working days after payment has been confirmed.

Delivery times may vary depending on your location and courier service availability.

All records are carefully packaged using protective vinyl mailers and padding to ensure safe delivery.


Special Order Items – “Ships in 10–14 Days”

Some products may be listed as “Ships in 10–14 Days.”

This means the item is available through one of our suppliers and currently in stock with them. Orders for these items are placed with the supplier once payment has been confirmed.

Expected Dispatch
After payment confirmation, the order will be processed and dispatched within 10–14 working days. This timeframe allows us to secure the product from the supplier and prepare it for shipment.

Important Note
Delivery estimates are based on typical supplier processing and shipping times. Actual delivery may vary depending on supplier availability and shipping logistics. If any delays occur, we will notify you as soon as possible.

Payment
Payment for these items is collected at the time of purchase to secure the order with the supplier.


Returns & Refunds

New Vinyl

If you receive a defective or damaged product, please notify us via email within 48 hours of receiving your order.

Once confirmed, the item will qualify for a full refund or replacement and must be returned to us. Return shipping costs for defective or incorrect items will be covered by Bantu Records.

If an order contains incorrect stock, a courier will be arranged to collect the item at our expense, and a full refund or replacement will be issued.


Used Vinyl

Used records are sold “as is.”

Due to the nature of second-hand vinyl, records may contain scratches, surface noise, or defects that may affect playback.

All used records are graded to the best of our ability using standard vinyl grading practices. However, grading can be subjective and we cannot guarantee completely uninterrupted playback.

If you believe the grading of a record was significantly inaccurate and that playback is adversely affected, please contact us. If the record does not meet the stated grading standard, we will issue a full refund.


Vinyl Grading

Second-hand records are graded using standard collector grading practices such as:

  • Mint (M)
  • Near Mint (NM)
  • Very Good Plus (VG+)
  • Very Good (VG)

These grades reflect the physical and playback condition of the record as assessed by Bantu Records.


Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the shipping address provided at checkout is accurate.

Bantu Records cannot be held responsible for parcels delivered to incorrectly provided addresses.


Damaged Parcels

If your parcel arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and include photographs of the packaging and product so we can assist with resolving the issue.
